On Wednesday, May 17th, we will be celebrating the school year at Reunion Ranch in Georgetown. All kinds of activities are available; zip-line, basketball, volleyball, playscapes, paddle boats, softball, and miniature golf are just a few examples of the numerous ways to have fun. An all you can eat lunch of hot dogs, chips, and baked beans will be provided, as well as soft drinks (max of 2) and water. Since this is our end of the year party, fruit and dessert will be provided by the party moms. The price for each child will be $12.00. Please send a check (no cash please!!!) made out to Bridge Point Elementary School to your classroom teacher no later than Thursday, April 13th.
You are invited and welcome to meet us there, or you may follow the buses. You may plan to stay all day or as long as you can. You will also be able to purchase lunch there if you wish. For directions, go to their website to see the map: http://www.reunionranch1.com

1/3: Welcome Back
Happy New Year! I can't believe we are already halfway finished with the school year. I would like to remind you that your child's 2nd quarter report card will be available for viewing on Skyward on January 5th at 3:30pm. As always, please let me know if you have any questions. Looking forward to another great semester!
We are super excited for our upcoming Winter Party which will be held Thursday, December 15, from 12:30-1:15. Students will be creating a snow globe craft while enjoying holiday cupcakes and hot choclate! You are all more than welcome to join us - the more, the merrier! Thank you so much to all of our amazing volunteers for being such awesome party planners!
THANK YOU SOLDIERS
When I lay my head down every night
And go to sleep in peace,
I can stay there knowing all is well
While you’re standing on your feet.
Keeping watch, protecting shore to shore
In the air and oceans, too.
Defending freedom at all cost,
For the red, white, and the blue.
Thank you, Oh thank you
Men and women, brave and strong,
To those who served so gallantly
We sing this grateful song.
To the soldiers who have traveled on
To countries far and near
In peace and war you paid the price
For the cause you hold so dear
That we may wake each morning bright
And know that freedom rings
Because of your great sacrifice
Your country joins to sing…
Information about Veteran's Day:
Veteran’s Day is on Friday, November 11. As part of our Service/Learning Project, our third graders are honoring our Veterans that day. We plan to honor them with a breakfast and a special presentation at Morning Assembly. We need to know if your child has a friend or relative who is active or retired from the armed services and plans to invite them to our classroom for the special celebration. If your friend or relative can’t be with us that day and your child would like to show pictures, medals, or recognition, please let me know so I can plan that in our schedule, as well. An announcement will be posted on my class website closer to this date with more details, but we would like to get a number now in order to plan accordingly. Please fill out the bottom portion and return it to me by Friday, November 4th. Should you have any questions regarding this special day, please email me.
